Former Linebacker and Current MMA Fighter Eryk Anders Bans Drake From Wearing Alabama Gear, Says If He Sees Him "I'm Fighting Him On Sight"

COMPLEX - …Promptly clowned by Clemson’s Twitter account, Drizzy’s support of the team immediately prompted fans to claim that the “Drake Curse” is very much alive, ex-Tide player and current UFC fighter Eryk Anders among them. He offered up a tweet on Tuesday, warning Drake that he would fight him “on sight.”

As TMZ reports, Anders is now doubling down on his opinion of the 6 God. “I don’t think there’s a bigger bandwagon fan out there than Drake himself,” he said. “I don’t know what it is but it seems like everything he touches with the exception of Max Holloway… Everything seems to come to a sudden halt and just crash and explode.”

He added that he doesn’t want to see Drake in an Alabama sweatshirt every again. “It’s OK for him to wear Tennessee and Notre Dame, but never again is he allowed to wear ‘Bama.”

Let’s take a peek at the guy who is “fighting Drake on sight” if he ever sees him in the streets:

Maybe it was a fluke

OK, that’s a ban that Drake may want to honor for the sake of his own health.

Although, on the flip side, Drake would be able to get a 28-track double album of material out of the emotional recovery process from an entirely broken body and brain fracture.

I like the precedent Anders is setting here.  No longer can teams allow this R&B fuckboy to torpedo their seasons.  The seasons they’ve put their blood, sweat and tears into, thousands of hours on the practice fields, bruises and bumps and broken limbs, ice baths and recovery, all destroyed by the 6 God.

Some people don’t believe in curses and jinxes, they think it’s silly, it’s the Boogeyman, a convenient scapegoat for a team just simply not performing.

Tell that to McGregor, the Cavs, Kentucky, the Raptors, and the floor 5 feet short of the Kentucky rim:
